You can create audio only content to assign to your learners. These exercises will have no interactive notation. You can attach a photo or PDF to the exercises you create. You can record directly with MatchMySound or use an existing audio file from your computer.
How to Create an Audio Only Exercise by Recording with MatchMySound
- Navigate to My Content.
- Click Create your own content.
- Click Create audio-only content.
- Choose your metronome settings, tempo and Beats per bar. You can also tap the tempo if you like.
- Click Record.
- On the following screen you can trim the recording if needed or go back and re-record the example.
If you do not want to record to a click track, adjust your Tempo setting before turning off the Metronome on setting.
How to create an Audio Only Exercise using an existing audio file from your computer
- Navigate to My Content.
- Click Create your own content.
- Click Create audio-only content.
- In the lower section of the page, click Load audiofile. You can use wav, mp3 or ogg files here.
- On the next page you can trim the file as needed.
- Click Continue.
- On the next Screen you can edit the Title, Author, Description, Count-in beats/bar, Tempo, Instrument and Default score goal.
- Here you can also attach a PDF to your exercise by clicking Attach a file
- Click Save
